Coca-Cola - A New Way to Celebrate
Self-initiated packaging & ad concept | 2026
What if there were a more luxurious way to celebrate without drinking? This concept started over brunch with a friend: we both love a great sparkling wine, but sometimes you want the toast and still have the rest of your day, guilt-free. The answer: Coca-Cola, bottled like champagne. I reimagined four Coca-Cola brands as a non-alcoholic sparkling celebration line, then built the product shots and an animated ad to show how it could launch.
The Concept:
Diet Coke in a champagne bottle started as a brunch-table idea, and the more I looked into it, the more it made sense. A foil-wrapped champagne bottle says "occasion" in a way a can never could, and a cola's carbonation and caramel notes could actually bring flavor and fizz benefits to the format. The result is a sober celebration product that still feels like popping a bottle.
One Bottle, a Whole Line:
To show this could be a full product line rather than a one-off, I extended the system across Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta and Barq's. Every bottle shares the same dark champagne glass, copper foil neck, hot-foil gold logo and "Vintage 2026 · Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Beverage" fine print, while each brand gets its own color world (cherry red, lime green, champagne gold and deep burgundy) carried through the backdrop and pedestal.
From Mockup to Ad:
The product renders were generated with AI image tools, then refined in Photoshop, where I rebuilt every logo and line of fine print so the labels stayed sharp and accurate across the set.
From there, I animated each still with AI video tools, adding drifting iridescent bubbles and rolling condensation, and cut the clips into a vertical "A New Way to Celebrate" spot sized for social.
Design Choices:
Champagne cues do the heavy lifting: the bottle shape, the foil neck and the word "Vintage" signal a special occasion before anyone reads the label. Keeping each brand's own logo, rendered in gold foil, makes the products instantly recognizable while feeling premium. Pastel pedestals and floating bubbles keep the mood playful rather than formal, so the line reads as fun and celebratory instead of a stand-in for alcohol.
